Lea and her husband, Rush, have resided in Bristol for over 30 years. During that time, she has been active on numerous boards, served as the President of the Junior League of Bristol, and participated in her family’s church and schools. Lea Powers is originally from Nashville, TN, where she graduated with a B.S. degree in Education. She also has an M.Ed. in Administration. She was raised on a lake, and she enjoys spending time on South Holston Lake and gardening.
